11 July Christopher Rudd - Edward Wilson of the Antarctic
An illustrated talk on Edward Wilson's life of courage , often under extreme hardship and challenge presented by the Polar Regions.
8 Aug Patrick Coulcher -The Natural History of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland
A welcome return to RAF retired naturalist and author.
12 Sept Martin Heard - Toulouse Lautrec & Bohemian Paris
An illustrated
talk discusses Toulouse Lautrec's private life in the context of the Bohemian Paris he inhabited.
10 Oct John Benjamin – The Intimate Jewels of Faberge
The well known jewellery expert from the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will give an illustrated talk on this iconic jeweller.
7 Nov AGM. Gary Enstone
– Row Yards for Kipling
The acting Property Manager for Batemans will talk about his work and the recent launch of
the replica 534 boat that Kipling had built for his garden.
Please note that
the November evening meeting starts half an hour earlier, at 7.00 pm in order
to allow time for the AGM.
